Alex and Danika Wedding
If you follow (or stalk) our blog you’d know by now that we went down and shot a wedding with James Day. Well, this is that wedding!
We didn’t meet Alex and Danika until the morning of the wedding but they exuded such warmth that we felt like old friends right from the start.
Matt and I had never been to Armidale before – it’s a gorgeous little town with some very beautiful churches. Mr James Day said that I could choose the locations for the main photos which was very exciting! I even managed to find two locations that James had never shot at before.
To be honest, I found it a very strange experience being the second shooter – not being the one in total control was hard. I did however sneak some ’set up’ shots of Alex and Danika while James was off photographing the bridal party.
It was really interesting seeing what different perspectives James and I got from shooting the same wedding. That’s what great about photography – everyone has a unique eye. You can see James’ shots HERE.
Here are some of my shots from the day.
