$500 eGift Card Giveaway Competition - Terms & Conditions
- Promoter
1.1 The promoter is Shadow Play, located in Victoria, Australia.
- Eligibility
2.1 The $500 eGift Card Giveaway Competition is open to Australian residents aged 18 and over.
2.2 Employees, affiliates, agents, and immediate family members of Shadow Play are not eligible to participate.
- Competition Period
3.1 The competition runs from 7th June 2024 to 31st July 2024.
- How to Enter
4.1 Create and post a TikTok, Instagram reel, Instagram story, or Instagram static feed post with the Shadow Play board game.
4.2 Participants must tag @shadowplaygame in their Instagram posts, stories, reels or TikToks.
4.3 The participant’s Instagram and/or TikTok profile must be set to public for the entire competition period, so Shadow Play can view and count the participant’s entries.
4.4 1 post = 1 entry. Multiple entries are permitted and encouraged, more posts = more entries.
4.5 Entries will close on 31st July 2024 at 5pm AEST.
- Prize
5.1 The prize for the competition is one $500 eGift Card, which will go to one entrant only.
5.2 The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be substituted for cash or any other alternatives.
- Judging Criteria
6.1 Entries will be judged based on creativity, entertainment value, and ruthlessness.
6.2 The judging panel will consist of Shadow Play employees.
6.3 Decisions of the judging panel are final and binding.
- Winner Notification
7.1 The winner will be selected from all eligible entries received during the competition period.
7.2 The winner will be announced on the 2nd of August via Shadow Play’s Instagram and TikTok accounts.
7.3 The winner will be contacted via direct message on the platform they entered through and/or by email.
7.4 Non-eligible entries will not be notified.
- Prize Claim
8.1 The winner must respond within 7 days of notification to claim their prize.
8.2 If the selected winner does not respond within this timeframe, or fails to meet the eligibility requirements, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to the next best entry.
- Use of Entries
9.1 By entering the competition, participants grant Shadow Play the right to use, publish, and share their content on Shadow Play’s social media channels and marketing materials.
- Privacy:
10.1 Any personal information collected during the competition will be used solely for the purpose of administering this competition and contacting the winner, unless the participant has provided explicit consent for other purposes.
10.2 Shadow Play will handle all personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws and Shadow Play’s Privacy Policy available at www.shadowplay.com.au/policies/privacy-policy
- General Conditions:
11.1 Shadow Play reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates the terms and conditions or engages in fraudulent or inappropriate behaviour.
11.2 Shadow Play reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions for any reason and without notice.
11.3 Shadow Play is not responsible for entries not received due to technical issues.
11.4 By participating in the competition, participants agree to release Shadow Play, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability arising from or related to the competition or the acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize.
11.5 This competition is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by TikTok or Instagram.
- Applicable Law and Jurisdiction:
12.1 These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria, Australia.
12.2 Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Victoria, Australia.
12.3 By participating in the competition, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these terms and consent to the collection, storage, use and disclosure of their personal information in accordance with these terms and conditions and Shadow Play’s Privacy Policy.
